I frown upon people whose life revolves around soccer. Not because I do not like the sport, actually I do not appreciate it, but the behaviour of soccer fans are appalling beyond the depth of hell.
I was once asked whether I was going stake out at any watering holes to catch whatever country versus whichever country. I bluntly and abruptly intercepted her by saying a firm no. Her face was shocked as though that the only answer she was expecting was a yes, which I can firmly and confidently conclude that manhood can only be expressed by watching soccer. It is like telling the world that I have balls because I watch one being kicked around by another bunch of men. How sad, I must state.
Soccer fans are much of an egotistical bunch of people who thinks that their sport is the only sport that rules the world. Although, there is no denial that sports bring communities together and bridges politics of countries to a harmonious end. On the contrary, soccer brings the devil out of people, which brings me to mention the soccer hooligans in England. If not mistaken, as far as I read, there are more fights than freewill treaties signed with the aid of soccer.
Who are the people making the most din in the middle of the night trying to catch the wee hours EPL match when the rest of the "normal" people are trying to catch much appreciated sleep? Soccer fans.
Selfish as they may be, they live in a world of denial that soccer is just a cultural facade for men to boost their lack of manhood. Through my close observation, those who consider themselves as obsessed soccer fans are overly compensating for things they lack, like balls to admit that they are not man enough for the society, thus I draw the boundary here between real men who do not need soccer to prove their masculinity and men who are putting on a facade to masquerade their manhood to the rest of real men.
Soccer Fans, please stand up and shout "GOAL" at each other because you scored an insecure place in our society, it reads "Loser Post".
